Emma Fee Music
Rehearsing, Recording, Gigging.

It’s all busied up quite nicely for me on the music front just lately I’m please to say.  Since brother Adam (Finding Feemo on here) got hit by a car in November, things ground to a halt for the Happy Endings on the gig front.  Coupled with my ankle sprain, gigs were well and truly ruled out. That’s not to say nothing has been happening at home…

The Happy Endings

…plenty of songsmithery has been happening and I’ve been rustling up songs for my solo project as well as Happy Endings stuff.  Last year I was working with the amazingly talented Lewis Holohan (LOOK HIM UP) on a House track - he’s just been signed up this year, so check him out - I’m hoping to pick back up on stuff with him later this year.

I’ve also started to jam with my fella Dan and our friend Joe on drums and we’ve got a lovely concoction of ideas going on - excited to share some of those tunes with you at some point!  Not sure what’ll amount from the jams we’re having, but I’m loving it so far!

But for now us Happy Endings are concentrating on rehearsing and getting back into action for a short notice gig at The Piper on Newland Ave in Hull, where we’ve been asked to be an acoustic support act for Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene/Paul Weller) who is playing there on 3rd March - AWESOME news!

Steve Cradock

I saw Ocean Colour Scene in the late 90’s at Bridlington Spa and they were amazing.   I can’t wait to see Steve in action and hear what he has to offer with his acoustic gig - I’m certain it won’t be a disappoinment for sure!  And what an honour, to be on the same bill as him. Wow.  You can get tickets from me for £15 each or pay £17.50 OTD.

So tonight is rehearsal night.  I wonder how rusty we’ve become?  Not much I hope!  *fingers crossed!*

Much love xxx
