It feels like an AGE since I’ve played…I haven’t even picked up a guitar properly since the Jubilee Weekend and it is KILLING me!  This is down to the non-stop working and moving house business that’s been going on of late…

Anyway, you’ll be please to know (I am too!) that the move is OVER with - just heaps of unpacking to do now…*SIGH*… but it does mean we can get back on track with some beautiful music again - HAPPY DAYS!

On Thursday, the man that is Digger Dan and I, will be doing a wee acoustic cover gig at the lovely eatery and bar Alison Hall in Hedon.  It’s a relaxed gig and an early starter at 7pm - 9pm so if you’re up that way and fancy some good food and music, this is your ticket!

Then on Friday we will be heading over to The Bay Horse on Wincolmee in Hull to host the Plug & Play Friday acoustic open mic night with the fantastic Mr (John) Cox!  This fortnightly shindig has been running a few weeks now and has been a success every time.   The atmosphere is lovely, the acts that play are highly entertaining and the crowd is just generally very warm and welcoming.  That starts at 8:30pm and we welcome musicians of all kinds :)  And guess what?  There’s a FREE drink in it for anyone who plays!

As for the solo EP release, that’s been delayed somewhat.  The songs are finished and mastered and the artwork finalised.  There were a few preview copies kicking around but they’ve all gone.  I promise to get my finger out and give you an official release date very soon!  So many other mundane things have been getting in the way I’m afraid….real life and all that…
